Get away from it all. Truely remote, wild and spectacular.

The Experience:

Utterly Romantic

"My boyfriend literally swept me off my feet by taking me to Ronay.  Encircled by spectacular landscape, weather and wildlife we got cosy together undisturbed by a soul."

Georgie Cooper, Buckinghamshire

"Surrounded by exceptional nature, far away from the madding crowd, I obtained the rare peace and tranquility that I needed to finish my novel."

Roland Baker, London

"We enjoyed a great week exploring the island and the Outer Hebrides., With no TV or internet we really connected as a family. The house was comfortable and clean, a very happy haven."

Katie Scott, Lancashire

We took a day trip with the local fishing boat while staying at Ronay and had a great feast on our freshly caught mackerel.

Edward Stanford Brook, London

Hills & Glens

In spring the white swaying heads of cotton grass characterise the wetter areas and in August flowering Scottish heathers give the moorland areas their warm purple hue. You can find exotic Western Isles plants such as Sundews and Butterwort A close examination of the ground flora of the Outer Hebrides reveals a diverse mosaic of mosses that thrive in the extreme island climate and lichen covered rocks are strewn across the hillsides.
